This residence at Thoraipakkam was built in 2017 for Mr, Mari. This house was designed to accommodate three families. The land had a flat profile with no trees or other local vegetation. The rectangular site on which the house stands is a part of plotted housing development in Thoraipakkam. The building line stands the same as the plot line. The owner wanted an Economical house with three airy, well-lit bedrooms and attached toilets. The basic structure is of RCC with brick walls. Access to all rooms in the house is through a common corridor. Low white walls shaded under the single plane suggests a contemporary, simplicity and textures of local architecture. All woodworks are done with teakwood with clear Glossy polish.
